Music learning practices in formal settings, for example, the classroom, generally apply structured and systematic curriculum-based strategies. The entire process has been organized implemented with guidance supervision by teacher. In Indonesia, music schools still applies standardization of Western theory. fact, that offer local pedagogical values provide a very diverse portrait. higher education, pedagogy going on some time. Education Study Program (PSPM) Lampung University is one tertiary educational institutions based pedagogy. Learning are also performance-based carried out "informal" stages processes. This notion means informal society. Informal have not recognized as curriculum institutions. article looks at concept applied areas. central theoretical perspective this research uses Green's (2008) thoughts classroom. Data were collected through observation in-depth interviews lecturers students levels 2 3. As result, takes place PSPM (1) provides opportunities to learn while creating; (2) space collaboration social participation; (3) strengthens peer groups.
